I have one of your SC942-S chassis that includes individual cables connectors for the front panel switches. There is a cable called "NMI SW" - where is this connected? There are no documents that came with chassis. On page 3-1 of the Super Server 7043P-8R user manual (this system has the same chassis), it mentions the NMI switch, but there is no switch available on the chassis - why?

The individual cables connectors are used on several different SuperMicro chassis, some of which have an NMI switch. However, there is no NMI switch on the SC942 chassis so this cable is not required. The information regarding this in the 7043P-8R SuperServer user manual is a typo - the next release will correct this.
