I own a P4DC6+ with BIOS version 1.2b. My question is in regards to compatibility with the new large-capacity ATA hard drives which exceed 137GB. Is a separate controller required to overcome this barrier, or will the full capacity of these drives be available with the built-in controller on this mo therboard?

The P4DC6+ fully supports 48bit drive access ( most current BIOS). NOTE: the operating system must also support 48 bit access to see the full drive. Please visit Microsoft's web site, knowledge base for more informa tion.
