DIMM Removal

Important: To avoid causing any damage to the memory module or the DIMM socket, do not use excessive force when pressing the release tabs on the ends of the DIMM socket. Handle memory modules with care. To avoid ESD-related damage to your memory modules or components, carefully follow all the instructions given in Static-Sensitive Devices.

Press both release tabs on the ends of the DIMM socket to unlock it. Once the DIMM is loosened, remove it from the memory slot.
