Question
I have SYS-1027R-N3RF server. Cannot disable serial ports in the BIOS. Setting will revert to enabled upon a reboot. BIOS was properly exited with a save settings and exit. BIS version is 1.0b.

Please update the BIOS newer than 1.0b which will solve this issue.
