Question
After IPMI firmware update on our X9 board, i see a new feature in IPMI "Bios Update". But it seems i need to buy some kind of license to use this feature? Is that correct?

Answer
You can still use the standard way to update the bios by ipmi, by making a virtual USB stick drive, where you boot from to update the bios in the KVM under dos. The new feature you see in IPMI, is only for our X9 mainboard line and up, with our System managment software suite, and makes it possible to do mass bios updates over cross platform servers. You can get more information for this software (and ipmi feature) by your sales person .
