For the SYS-5037MC-H86RF, can I stick in a 10 GB PCIE3.0 LP NIC card
instead of the HBA/Raid card?

Answer
You can, but since the harddrives in this system can only be connected to the HBA/RAID card it does mean that you don't have any drives. So it is impractical.
