How to update firmware of LSI 9207-8I (2308)?

You need to update MPT BIOS first and then update the firmware. If you use EFI, the commands are
Sas2flash –b mptsas2.rom
Sas2flash –f 9207-8i.bin (for IT mode)
Sas2flash –f 9217-8i.bin (for IR mode)
