Question
How do I add a vlan tag to my blade nodes using a CLI tool?
Print
Answer
You can do it through SMCIPMITool. You can get it here from our FTP https://www.supermicro.com/wdl/utility/SMCIPMItool/

Run it with the parameters
SMCIPMITool blade bmc vlan

this will show the current VLAN status, which is Disabled VLAN Tag 0 by default.

Then run
SMCIPMITool blade bmc vlan enable
this will enable VLAN tagging and add the tag number to that node.
