I was installing RHEL6.4 to the USB pen drive attached to X10SLA-F USB3.0 port, and in the first boot after installation completed I got kernel panic and cannot boot to the USB drive. Is there a fix for this problem?
This could be an RHEL6.4 related issue and it is suggested that user should disable xHCI in BIOS menu so the USB will work at USB2.0 to avoid the issue. The xHCI option can be found at advanced->chipset configuration->PCH-IO configuration->xHCI mode->disabled.
