Question
The test I am doing to get this temperature is by using the program "Speccy" that measures hardware temperatures. It shows that the motherboard runs at 258F. That is the problem. Since the operating system I am using (Windows server 2012 Datacenter) is not at all supported by the super doctor software that comes with the motherboard. However, I am using a temperature reader that uses laser to measure temperature in a specific area. I could not find a 258F degrees any where on the board.

Answer
Because Windows server 2012 is not validated for OS compatibility of MB X7SBL-LN2 by our LAB. This MB doesn’t officially support Windows Server 2012. http://www.supermicro.com/support/resources/OS/X7S.cfm The hardware-related software like Speccy may not get the correct information through this OS.
