Question
I am testing one machine with X10SAE and i7-4770. It goes well but keep getting overheat warning with stock heatsink (properly and securely installed).

By checking BIOS, I found that the processor is recognized as i7-4770 3.4GHz, however the CPU speed is actually running at 3.7GHz. What can I do to run the CPU at the stock frequency?

Answer
Please disable the Turbo Mode in the BIOS setting "Advance -> CPU Configuration" as i7-4770 supports Intel Turbo Boost Technology which can run at the maximum turbo frequency of 3.9 GHz.
