Question
During Windows 2016 OS installation, I get error message below:

Windows cannot be installed to this disk. The selected disk has an MBR partition table. On EFI systems WIndows can only be installed to GPT disks.

Answer
For UEFI installation, you will have to convert the partition to GPT. Please follow steps below if you encounter issue.

Convert Disk to GPT:

Hold down Shift and press F10 key

Open up CMD

Type DISKPART

List DISK

SELECT DISK #

CONVERT GPT

EXIT
