Question
I have several fat twin nodes that are using the X10DRFR-NT motherboard. I am testing these nodes with a pair of E5-2600 V4 CPUs to ensure the nodes are functioning correctly. So far I have not installed any other components other than the CPUs and memory. When trying to boot the nodes with two of the CPUs installed they don't post and hang at "PEI--Intel Reference Code Execution. . DC".
If I only install one of these CPUs in CPU1 socket the nodes post without any issues. What can be the cause for this issue?

Answer
Post code "DC" is for configuration error. In general, it is caused by using mismatched CPUs. Please check to ensure that both CPUs are the same model and specifications.
