Question
I think what I’ve discovered is that IPMI supports SNMP Traps but not SNMP Gets on the X9.

On the X10 motherboard, we see an ‘SNMP’ option under the ‘Configuration’ tab, but no on the X9.

That is correct, X9 boards use the Nuvoton BMC chips which don't support that feature. The newer X10 motherboards have ASPEED BMC chips which allow us to support SNMP Gets too.
