I have the Supermicro X8DTL-IF motherboard which currently uses a standard SSD as its boot drive. I would like to replace this with an NVME/M.2 SSD via a PCI-E add-in card. The device works fine and is seen by Windows.
However, I am unable to use it as a boot device. Is this something you can help with?
X8DTL-IF motherboard does not support UEFI in the BIOS. Therefore, NVME cannot use as a boot device.
