Question
I am regularly getting message in NT4.0 saying that "Service Control Manager: At least one service or driver failed during system startup. Use Event Views to examine the event log for details." What causes this issue?

NT4.0 gives this error because you probably just installed drivers for new devices (NIC, RAID or SCSI controllers...) after you installed Service Pack 6. To cure this annoying message, you must reinstall Service Pack 6.
