Question
Other than the 2 USB ports next to the P/S 2 Keyboard/Mouse ports, the additional USB headers with any USB devices on my X5DPA-GG/X5DPA-G motherboard aren't functioning properly (not being recognized inside OS) , do you have any suggestions?

Answer
You must enable the additional USB headers in the BIOS . Our BIOS default setting for this USB controller is only for the 2 default USB ports . Please hit "Del" key to go into BIOS setup, under Advance menu, go to "Advanced Chipset Control" --> "Intel ICH3 SouthBridge Configuration" and enable ICH3 Dev29 Functions for USB#2 and USB#3. Hit F10 to save and exit. After these steps, OS should be able to recognize your USB devices. For your information, the X5DPA-GG motherboards only support USB1.1, but not USB2.0.
