What are the differences between regular shutdown and Graceful Power shutdown in IPMI 1.5?

Answer
Regular shutdown or reset does not send a message to your server to notify that it is being shutdown/reset by a client, while Graceful Power does. However, in order to utilitize this function correctly, you must install Graceful Power software in the server.
