Question
How can I distinguish between an Intel(R) PWT (Power Wind Tunnel) and a PWTu? Which one would Supermicro's boards and servers support?

Answer
PWT is the first generation of Intel(R) heatsink (fan is fixed), and PWTu is the second generation which allows customers to mount fan either on top or side of heatsink. For more detail, please go here. At this point, only some of Supermicro's boards support Intel(R) PWTu.
