I have a Super Server 8050. One of the SCSI drives experienced a fault error (red indicator light). We took the drive out and inserted the carrier back into the drive slot, but still experience a warning or alarm whistle that we cannot stop. Is there a way to stop the audible warning?

There is no option to shut off the alarm for hard drive failure. You need to replace the drive. Upon hard drive replacement and a complete system rebuild, the alarm will then automatic turn off.
