We have your PDSBA+ main board and have installed Windows XP 32bit SP3. However the onboard IDE controller does not detect any device in the OS. We can boot from an IDE CD-ROM drive, but it is not detected in the OS also. The ITE IT8212F is recognized as a standard IDE controller in the device manager and when trying to load the latest driver from Supermicro (version 1.7.2.4) it does not accept it. How can we solve this issue?

The problem is related to Service Pack 3 and the current IDE driver only supports up to Service Pack 2. Please use the following driver version 1.7.2.9 to solve the issue:
