We are facing issue with IPMI card, please find the details below:

Problem: In IPMIView, within sensor tab, it is not showing the CPU temperature option at all.

Board – X7DBT with BIOS version: 2.1

CPU: 5300 series

IPMI card – SIMSO+ with firmware version: 01.57.00(Built 5420)/AUG-06-08-10-20

OS - RHEL 5 Update 1 X64

IPMI view version: V2.6.38 ( Build 080201 )

What could be the issue?

The IPMIView version you used is too old, please update to latest version which is 2.6.50 from:

IPMI 2.6.50

which will correct the issue.
