Storage Drives

The storage drives are mounted in tool-less drive carriers that simplify their removal from the chassis. These carriers also help promote proper airflow.

Note: Enterprise-level storage modules are recommended for use in Supermicro servers.

Removing Hard Drive Carriers from the Chassis

1. Press the release button on the drive carrier, which will extend the driver carrier handle, then use the drive carrier handle to pull the drive out of the chassis.

2. Use the handle to pull the drive carrier out of the chassis.
