Can I disable built-in onboard audio and use an add-on PCI sound card?

All boards with build-in sound have an onboard jumper to user to disable it. Please check the board's manual for the name and location of this jumper; it should be in the Quick Reference page. Also, go into BIOS setup and disable the AC97 and game port.
