X9DRL-3F COM1 port works ok, but COM2 port does not work with the same testing method. What is the problem?

Answer
COM2 is set to SOL by default.
If you want COM port function, BIOS setting needs to change from SOL to COM.

Advanced => Super IO Configuration (WPCM450) => Serial Port 2 Configuration => Serial Port 2 Attribute.
