Question
For X10DRL-i MB, recently we suffer IPMI packet loss using dedicated LAN port issue, have set share NIC with another i210 Gigabit LAN port as LACP, is this the main reason that results to this issue ?

Answer
LACP, Link Aggregation Control Protocol, it’s similar to “Trunking” concept, logically merge some port channel as a big channel.

It is not recommended to combine dedicated LAN with another i210 Gigabit LAN port for LACP due to speed different.

Here are LACP limitations:

1) Full-duplex links

2) Same media type, speed, duplex mode, flow control settings
