We have installed a NVidia GRID M10 in a super micro server and found the following issue.

Once the driver is installed after the first reboot the local monitor and remote console are showing a black screen only.

We are using windows 2012 R2 but could also replicate this issue on 2016, 8.1
How can we solve this?

This issue is caused by the fact that the driver installation sets the GRID M10 as primary display adapter.

To resolve this you will need to install the third party remote desktop software like any desk.

Install the remote desktop software on the server and on a client.

Use the client to connect to the server using the remote desktop software and change the primary display to the onboard Aspeed, this will solve your issue.
