Question
Today one of our 2028U-E1CNR4T+ servers failed to boot. When we logged into the IPMI, we saw there were too many errors about Failing DIMM. Seems all P1 DIMMs failed to boot is it possible that all memories on CPU 1 failed at the same time? We also see Processor - IERR Assertion event log, any suggestion?

Failing DIMM: DIMM location. (Uncorrectable memory component found) (P1-DIMMB1)

Answer
Please make sure your BIOS have been updated to R2.0 or later.

Since there is CPU1 IERR error from your event log, we suggest doing swap test for CPU1 and CPU2 first to clarify which processor impact on this issue.
