We have the following configuration below with issue detecting HDDs. We populate 34 HDD in the server, but we only can see 24 not 34 HDDs. 12 HDD installed in the rear and 22 installed in the front.
One port from the controller connects to the rear backplane and the second port from the controller connects to the front backplane. Would you please advise the issue.

Yes, the ST6000NM0125 are 4kn sector drives and require EFI support.
First, need to set the PCIE oprom to EFI for the PCIE slot where you installed the 9207-8i sas controller.
