Question
I have an X10DRI motherboard with 6 Seagate ST6000NM0004 6TB hard disks and configured RAID mode in BIOS but after reboot the system, the "CTRL+i" message is not displaying on the screen. So, we tested with (02) 1TB SATA disks using the same steps above. After reboot, the "CTRL + i" is displayed normally.

Do you know something about this issue? For 6TB, is it necessary to configure Raid in UEFI mode? Is this board supports Raid in UEFI mode?

Answer
Seagate ST6000NM0004 is a 4Kn. All X8/X9/X10/X11 Intel onboard controllers, including PCH, ICHxR, do not support 4Kn hard drive.
