AOC-SIMLP3+ card; and The root certificate for this card has an MD5 signature, which is no longer accepted.


How can I change the root certificate to allow the java applet to work with modern java?

Answer
The root certificate is embedded in firmware, and old cards don't have the new firmware updated with the latest certificate anymore (EOL). Please downgrade Java to allow the expired certificate to run.
