Using AOC-S3108L-H8iR storage card in Supermicro storage server with ESXi 6.0 U2 installed. When we go and check the health status in ESXi vsphere, there is a warning message that says


Disk or Disk Bay 1 HDD Status: Rebuild Aborted - Assert

To get a status of the storage controller and volumes, you will have to install the SMIS Providers from Broadcom. Then you should see the status on my disk.


"Disk or Disk Bay 1 HDD Status: Rebuild Aborted - Assert" warning false reading because cannot get the HDD status from our IPMI sensor. Please contact Support@supermicro.com for latest IPMI firmware.
