The (2nd) M.2-NVMe-SSD on the AOC-SLG3-2M2 is not recognized by the BIOS when the AOC is installed into a PCIe x16 slot-connector, even if Bifurcated to 1x16  or  2x8 configuration.

If the PCIe x16 slot-connector that the AOC-SLG3-2M2 card is installed into, is Bifurcated to 1x16 or 2x8, then the BIOS will only acknowledge the lower 1x4 PCIe lanes to recognize the first M.2-NVMe-SSD and not acknowledge the 2nd M.2-NVMe-SSD.

To remedy this problem, Bifurcate the PCIe x16 slot-connector to a x4x4x4x4  or x4x4x8 configuration so that the BIOS can recognize the (2nd) M.2-NVMe-SSD. Be sure to refer to the appropriate Motherboard User Manual at the Supermicro online webpage, for instructions on how to change PCIe slot-connector configuration.
