Question
I can't use any video card on my P4DC6+ motherboard. I've tried different video cards each on two different OS: WinXP Pro and Win2k Pro. I get random symptoms depending on the card, OS, etc., but some of my errors say something about data being processed in an infinite loop between my motherboard and graphics card. Do you have a solution for this problem?

Answer
This is caused by incorrect BIOS version. Please make sure your motherboard has the right BIOS with respect to the board. P4DC6+ must use DC6PXXX.bin file, if you use the regular DC6 BIOS it still works but will have infinite loop problem in Win2K and XP. You can check the BIOS when you see the first POST screen. You can also go inside the BIOS and disable full logo screen under advanced tab inside the BIOS, so it wouldn't show the Supermicro logo.
