Question
I have the X11DDW-NT and the AOM-S3108-H8 Installed into a CSE-216BE2C-R920WB Which is
a fully supported chassis. However the firmware of the raid card is throwing an error saying it supports
only 16 drives.
I am asking if there is another firmware or special firmware that would support more than 16 drives.
Since it is only a firmware limitation.

Unfortunately, there is no special firmware other than the one officially posted on our ftp site.


Depend on your BPN and HBA / RAID, you may consider other alternate cards that can support more than 16 drives:
o AOC-S3008L-L8i & 1x CBL-SAST-0699 for standard LP,8 internal ports (12GB/s)PCI-E 3.0 x8, 63HDD RAID controller, RAID 0,1,10
o AOC-S3008L-L8e & 1x CBL-SAST-0699 for standard LP,8 internal ports (12GB/s)PCI-E 3.0 x8, 122HDD HBA
