Question
I bought one P4DL6 and Chassis SC742S. The SCSI backplne in SC742S is with SAF-TE chip GEM359. This system has Adaptec 2000S installed, but I cannot hear any alarm when I unplug a HDD from the system.

All our SCSI backplanes which have SAF-TE chip GEM359 do not support buzzer alarm feature at this moment, only the SCSI backplanes with SAF-TE chip GEM318 do. However, both types support LED indicator for fail drive(s) of a hardware RAID array.
