Question
I have your X5DAL-G motherboard. Every time I power up the system, a single continuously long beep is heard. I have replace four different sets of Un-buffered PC2100 DDR memory but experience the same symptom. There is also a red LED near by CPU socket indicating VRM_FAILED. How can I fix this problem?

Answer
First, you need to make sure that your power supply has 8pins and 4pins 12v connector and connect to motherboard along with 20pins/24pins ATX Power Connector to fix the issue with red LED call â??VRM-FAILEDâ?. Second, you need to check with different memory again, sometime the memories incompatible and it could cause the system with single continuously beep.
