I see that your new workstation boards support the Core i7 series processors. I have a Xeon E5462 processor (MPN: eu80574kl072n). Is this processor compatible with the new motherboards?

No, this processor is not compatible. The E5462 processor is of the LGA 711 family it will not fit in the new LGA 1366 socket.
