I have the X7DAL-E board. I am using the ESB2 controller to build a RAID array. I am using SATA HDs and SATA CD-ROM at the same time. Can this configuration work?

The ESB2 controller does not allow using RAID arrays and CD-ROM drive(s) at the same time.
