Question
We get the following message when we have 24 drives plugged into a SAS expander backplane, it actually DOES see all the drives however, both in the Webbios and in the OS level management software. As this is an OEM card I can’t call LSI directly, and I don’t see anything regarding this limitation in the user manual from the Supermicro.com websit. Any help greatly appreciated. I we wish to utilize raid level 6 comprised of 2 12 drive groups. What is the issue?

The AOC-USAS-H8iR raid controller only can expand up to 16 drives support. You need to use AOC-USAS-H4iR raid controller which is can expand up to 240 drives.
