Question
This new SC836E2 chassis has the three fans in front of the backplane connected to FAN2, FAN3, FAN4. When I turn the system on it starts all three fans but after about 4-5 seconds the alarm sounds. The fan fail LED on the board lights up and stays on even though the fans are running. Once the OS boots up the event viewer reports fail fans 1,2, and 3. I don’t want to just disable the alarm. Is there possibly a jumper related problem although I have not changed any or a firmware issue?
