Question We have the MB P/N: X7DCL-i. The BIOS Rev. 1.2a. Every time when customer turn on the system and before boot up the windows. The error messenger come out. "system configuration data updated error" and "system configuration data read error". We had change the battery and clear the CMOS and take HD out so that system only have the CPU and menory.Still have the same problems. So we want to know what is the problems. Answer Your x7dcl-I motherboard release before June 2008 which is can support Intel Xeon 5400 series processor but with latest update BIOS version 1.2a will display system configuration error. Go into the BIOS setup under Advance Boot Feature and disable the option call Post On Error. Was this FAQ helpful?
