Question
I have a Supermicro motherboard X9DRG-QF with a Noctua CPU cooling and Noctua fans everything works fine but a have one issue because the fan speed threshold is set to 600RPM. I can not change this in the bios,IPMI,and with Superdocter5. The fan are constantly ramping up and down tested with all 3 settings in IPMI system temps are CPU Temp 19C,System Temp 21C,Peripheral Temp 29C so there is no reason for this behavior except that the fans are below there threshold will bios rev 3.0A. How to solve this issue?
Answer

Since we designed this board with thresholds set for Supermicro fans, there is no option to change it to fit third-party fans for now. However, you can use third-party utility like IPMIUTIL to adjust the thresholds manually.
