Question
I want to disable all power saving features in the BIOS, but can't find familiar settings such as Power management, Intel SpeedStep and C1E. Where can I configure the Power management in this wonderful device?
Answer
Go to BIOS -> Advanced CPU Configuration -> Advanced Power Management Configuration
Change Power Technology to [Custom] & Energy Efficient Turbo to [Disable]
Then go to CPU P State Control, disable EIST(P-States) and Turbo Mode
Next go to CPU C State Control, change Package C State Limit to [C0/C1 state], and disable CPU C3 Report, CPU C6 Report, and Enhanced Halt State (C1E).
