Question X10DRH-CT, CPU is E5-2697 v4. The board starts to POST, displaying "system initializing...", and after a few second, it displays an error message saying "Failing DIMM:DIMM location(Correctable memory component found) P1-DIMMA1 P2-DIMME2" After that, the system hangs on POST code B7. I tried replacing all the DIMMs and the CPUs as well. Same problem. Answer Please upgrade BIOS to 2.0 using v3 CPU, then install v4 CPU. If BIOS is below 2.0, v4 CPU won’t work. Was this FAQ helpful?
