Answer |
If you are running CMM with 2.6.0.5 version or later THEN you have to upgrade Superblade switch KERNEL (aka OS version) version 1.1.4.
SMIS# sho ver Switch ID Hardware Version Firmware Version OS Version 0 SBM-XEM-X10S (B3-01) 1.0.11-4 1.1.3
This would apply for other SuperBlade switches SBM-GEM-X3S+, SBM-XEM-F8X4SM, SBM-GEM-X2C+
File location:
https://www.supermicro.com/wdl/Firmware/Switch/SBM-XEM-X10S/Release-1.0.11-4/https://www.supermicro.com/wdl/Firmware/Switch/SBM-XEM-X10S/Release-1.0.11-4/
File Name: kernel_10G_blade_1.1.4
This should be the procedure to update the switch bootloader/kernel
