Question I purchased 2049U-TR4 and APC-SLG3-4E4T. As per the user manual, JNV12C connection is required. https://www.supermicro.com/manuals/other/AOC-SLG3-4E4T.pdf P 3-3 # 6  But I cannot find the JNV12C connector on the motherboard X11QPH+. Will AOC-SLG3-4E4T be detected by motherboard X11QPH+ without connecting JNV12C? Answer The VPP (JNV12C) cable is required for NVMe hot-plug features. Without the VPP cable, the AOC and NVMe drives are still detected, but the NVMe hot-plug feature will not work.
