Question I’m working on a 4U SC846 Case and placing an X9DRD-7LN4F motherboard into it. I do not understand the spacer sizing convention and was wondering what size spacer/offsets to get. Also, are they supposed to be metal offsets to metal case bottom for grounding to the case or use what I see as some kind of nonconductive, synthetic O-ring, either on the underside of the motherboard or on top of the motherboard under the offset screws? Answer We don’t use O-ring in the chassis. What the end user needs should be standoffs. The standoffs should be included in the chassis accessory box.
