Question CentOS/RHEL 7.3 hang up during OS installation with X11SDV and X11SDW MB. Already implemented ASPEED VGA driver update as FAQ#30162 but still not working. Answer This is due to a software driver bug in the in-kernel drivers for QAT. X11SDW-14CNT-TP13F/X11SDW-8C-TP13F/X11SDV-12C-TLN2F/X11SDV-8C-TP8F/X11SDV-12C-TP8F with QAT support, user need to change the grub boot options to blacklist the QAT in-kernel driver for PCH (qat_c62x) at installation time.
