Question
I have a X11DPI-N Workstation and I want to expand my storage with the SABRENT EC-P4BF NVMe SSD Adapter Card.
It is advertised as "plug and play" but all your documentation requires the VROC key installed.
Which is correct? If the card will run without the key, is there any performance hit?

Answer
The VROC Key is not required for the card to work in JBOD mode / Individual Drives.
If you would like RAID Configuration using Intel VROC, then you will need a VROC Key.
There should be no performance hit to the drives.

Please note that this card has not been officially tested/validated with our Supermicro Products.
